I discovered my passion for Social Work at age 15. At that time in my life, I was inspired by a social worker who guided my family through some of life’s challenges. I realized then I wanted to dedicate my career to helping others. Whatever issues may currently be troubling you, I am here to listen and empower you in a safe space. Together, we will collaborate to overcome barriers and achieve your goals.

My background includes experience in case management, hospital social work, teen issues, anxiety, depression, stress, anger management, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), geriatrics, and substance use. I have 16 years’ experience in the field. There are many approaches to treatment and each client’s circumstances are unique. I will use the approach that best meets the needs of each client. I have experience utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Person-Centered, Strengths Based and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy.

I graduated from Virginia Commonwealth University with a Bachelor of Social Work in 2008. I earned my Masters in Social Work from St. Leo University in 2021. I am currently a Supervisee in Social Work working towards licensure. Clients have described me as friendly, helpful and non-judgmental.
