Meet Kim Pinto. Kim has her Master’s degree in Social Work and, though a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, she has retired from seeing clients. Kim does, however, continue to contribute to the profession by supervising pre-licensed clinicians, thereby ensuring quality of care.
As an Adoption Competent counselor, Kim has always had a passion for helping adoptive families around the unique struggles they face. Kim, and her supervisees specialize in working with a variety of mental health challenges including depression, anxiety, PTSD, trauma, attachment problems, emotional regulation, and behavior management.
The Healing Project, LLC was founded in 2019 with a vision to provide a one-stop shop for hurting families with special attention to foster and adoptive families. As a training enthusiast, Kim utilizes a variety of therapeutic techniques to teach and train her supervisees to provide the highest quality evidence-based care to our clients.
